Lorna has been teaching in primary schools across Cheshire since 2010. She currently teaches in a small rural school in a mixed Reception and Year 1 class but also has experience of teaching Years 2 and 3. Lorna is passionate about Early Years and developing firm foundations from the beginning. After delivering the First4Maths Academy Reception package, she was excited to continue that journey by using the First4Maths Academy to support teaching in Year 1. She is a strong believer in using the CPA approach to ensure that all children thrive and find the joy in mathematics. Lorna is looking forward to working with First4Maths Academy to develop resources to support teachers.
